ArmanBorn Armand Fernandez in 1928, he began studying art in his hometown of Nice, France in 1946 at the Ecole Nationale d'Art Decoratif, also earning degrees in mathematics and philosophy. Completing his studies in 1949, he left Nice to study oriental art and archeology at the Ecole du Louvre. His early works were abstract and Surrealist in style. Roald BradstockBradstock was born in Hertfordshire, England, in 1962, and began drawing, painting and using modeling clay before he was five years old. He won several awards at local art competitions before he was 10 and placed second in a National Art Competition at the age of 14. From the repetitious practices which developed him into one of the world's finest javelin throwers to the repetitious lines and shapes he develops in his art, Bradstock stands as a unique amalgamation of success in sport and art.
