Giclee: Giclee is French for "sprayed ink." This is a sophisticated printmaking process, today it is typically produced on an IRIS ink-jet printer capable of producing millions of colors using continuous tone technology. Giclee should be printed on a fine fabric or an archival quality paper. Following the printing process, a final, thin transparent coating is applied for maximum permanence. |
